  • Before you set off for your night out, plan your travel arrangements for afterwards
  • To avoid the risk of your drink being ‘spiked’ with drugs or alcohol, never accept

    from strangers or leave your drink unattended

  • Never accept a drink that you haven’t seen being pour
  • Avoid excessive drinking

*ROMEO / Lothario Effect = someone who romances a potential victim & gains their trust. Once they’ve gained the victim's trust, she/he is either abducted, recruited or forced to do thing they do not want to do (e.g. Prostitution).

  • Do not walk in abandoned areas – make sure there are always people around you
  • Try not to be the last customer on the bus / taxi
  • If possible – Whatsapp a photo of the taxi/bus registration nr to someone
  • Stay aware of your surroundings
  • Never take a taxi if you are drunk
